Αγαπητέ σύντροφε, Αλέξη Τσίπρα,
Σου γράφουμε αυτά τα λόγια, εμείς,πολίτες του ισπανικού κράτους, που όπως και η Ελλάδα,
δέχεται την «χρεοκρατική» επίθεση της οικονομικής ολιγαρχίας της Ευρώπης.
Απευθυνόμαστε σ’ εσένα και στους χιλιάδες πολίτες της Ελλάδας που εμπιστεύθηκαν την ψήφο τους στην πολιτική σας οργάνωση, επιθυμώντας να εκφράσουμε την ευγνωμοσύνη και την αλληλεγγύη μας και την πρόθεσή μας να στηρίξουμε την αντίστασή σας ενάντια στη νεοφιλελεύθερη λαίλαπα που απειλεί να καταστρέψει τις υλικές συνθήκες διαβίωσης και τις πολιτικές συνθήκες της συνύπαρξης, και να σταθούμε στο πλευρό σας, στον αγώνα σας για δικαιοσύνη, αξιοπρέπεια και δημοκρατία, για τον ελληνικό λαό και για όλους τους λαούς που απαρτίζουν την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση.
Χαιρετίζουμε με ενθουσιασμό την επιτυχία σας στις πρόσφατες εκλογές, και επικροτούμε τον τρόπο με τον οποίο χειρίζεστε τα αποτελέσματά τους, και σας παρακινούμε να συνεχίσετε αυτή την προσπάθεια, που αποτελεί ήδη παράδειγμα και ελπίδα για εκατομμύρια άνδρες και γυναίκες σε όλη την Ευρώπη.
Θέλουμε εσύ και τα μέλη της οργάνωσής σου, οι Ελληνίδες και οι Έλληνες που μέσα από άλλους πολιτικούς, συνδικαλιστικούς ή κοινωνικούς χώρους μοιράζονται την ιδέα μιας αληθινά ελεύθερης και αλληλέγγυας συμβίωσης, να γίνετε μέτοχοι της αισιόδοξης προσδοκίας που διαγράφεται σήμερα σε όλη την Ευρώπη, ότι είναι εφικτό μέσα σε σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα, μια νέα κυβέρνηση λαϊκής ενότητας στην Ελλάδα να υψώσει το ανάστημά της στη δικτατορία των εμπόρων και των γραφειοκρατών που κρατούν όμηρο την Ευρώπη.
Θεωρούμε ότι η τρέχουσα πολιτική συγκυρία στην Ελλάδα είναι ένα σημείο καμπής που μπορεί να οδηγήσει στη ριζική μεταμόρφωση της ευρωπαϊκής πολιτικής και οικονομικής τάξης. Χρειαζόμαστε μια νέα Ευρώπη των πολιτών, κι όχι μια Ευρώπη των βάρβαρων πολιτικών λιτότητας που δίνει προτεραιότητα στην αποπληρωμή του ειδεχθούς, παράνομου και αθέμιτου χρέους, σε βάρος της ανθρώπινης ανάπτυξης των κοινοτήτων μας.
Αυτή είναι η έκκληση που απευθύνουμε αυτές τις μέρες στις πλατείες, από την Πουέρτα ντελ Σολ στην Πλατεία Συντάγματος και σε πλήθος άλλες πλατείες, διάσπαρτες σε όλη την Ευρώπη,ελεύθερες πλατείες που γίνονται ο σπόρος και η βάση για μια πραγματική δημοκρατία, αυτή τη δημοκρατία που φιλοδοξούμε να οικοδομήσουμε από κοινού, οι άνδρες και οι γυναίκες της Ευρώπης.
Ο αγώνας ενάντια στο νεοφιλελεύθερο αυταρχισμό που υποθηκεύει το παρόν και το μέλλον των λαών μας, μπορεί να κερδηθεί μόνο σε πανευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο. Επίσης, σε ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο θα πρέπει να κατακτηθούν αληθινά δημοκρατικοί θεσμοί που θα συμβάλλουν στην ελευθερία και την αλληλεγγύη των λαών της Ευρώπης, ενάντια στη νεοφιλελεύθερη ολιγαρχία και το μόνιμο καθεστώς έκτακτης οικονομικής και πολιτικής ανάγκης που αυτή επιβάλλει.
“Κι αφού περίμενα καιρό –πολύ καιρό-, ήρθ’ επιτέλους ώρα να σαλπάρω”, έλεγε ο δικός σας και ο δικός μας Αλέξανδρος Παναγούλης. Οι άνδρες και οι γυναίκες της Ευρώπης, περιμέναμε και υπομείναμε πολύ. Και για μια ακόμη φορά, ο ελληνικός λαός, βαθύς γνώστης των «πραγμάτων της θάλασσας» και της ελευθερίας, καλείται να δείξει το δρόμο προς αυτή τη νέα Ευρώπη που αχνοφαίνεται μέσα από τις πλατείες μας και τις εξεγερμένες μας φωνές. Στεκόμαστε από σήμερα στο πλευρό σας για να αντιμετωπίσουμε από κοινού, σαν λαοί αδερφωμένοι, αυτό το δύσκολο μα ελπιδοφόρο ταξίδι.

Dear Comrade Alexis Tsipras,
We are writing to you as citizens of European countries which, like Greece, have faced the "debtocratic" offensive of the financial and oligarchical powers in Europe.
We turn to you and through you to the thousands of Greek citizens who cast their votes for your political organization to express our gratitude, our solidarity and our support for your determined resistance against the neoliberal devastation of the material conditions of daily life and of the very possibility of a life in common in Greece. We support you in your struggle for another way, a way which will mean justice, dignity and democracy for the Greek people, and for all peoples throughout the European Union.
We enthusiastically welcome your success in the latest Greek elections, and we also applaud your insistence on the incontrovertible meaning of these results; we encourage you to persevere in this course of action which has already furnished an example and a cause for hope for millions of men and women from all over Europe.
We want you, the members of your organization and the Greek citizens who, as political activists, trade unionists or participants in broad social movements, share the project of creating a common life truly based on freedom and solidarity, to know the hope with which we throughout Europe anticipate the possibility that, soon, a new Greek government of popular unity will confront the dictatorship of the financiers and bureaucrats who have hijacked Europe.
We see the current conjuncture in Greece as a turning point which could lead to a radical transformation of the European political and economic order. We need a new Europe, a Europe of and for its citizens and all its inhabitants, free of the brutal austerity policies that prioritize the payment of an odious, illegal and illegitimate debt, which prevents the human development of our communities. This is the call heard today throughout the squares of Europe, from Puerta del Sol in Madrid to Syntagma Square in Athens, squares scattered all over the European geography, liberated places that are the seeds and the constituent basis of the real democracy that women and men in Europe want to build together.
The struggle against neoliberal authoritarianism which signs away the present and the future of our peoples can only be successful at the European level. It is essential, also at the European level, that we create for ourselves truly democratic institutions which contribute to freedom and solidarity of the various peoples of Europe against the neoliberal directorate and its permanent economic and political state of exception.
"And after having waited for so long / finally the time to weigh anchor has come," said the poet Alexandros Panagoulis, who was your co-citizen –and ours. Women and men in Europe have already waited too long and endured too much. Once again, it has been left to the Greek people, so intimately acquainted with the sea, as well as with freedom, to take the responsibility of setting the course towards the new Europe we glimpse in our rebellious streets and voices. We stand shoulder to shoulder with you to set out together, a fraternal assembly of peoples, on what will undoubtedly be a difficult voyage, but one full of hope.

te escribimos estas palabras ciudadanos y ciudadanas del Estado español, azotado como Grecia por la ofensiva deudocrática de los poderes financieros y oligárquicos de Europa. Nos dirigimos a ti, y a través de ti, a los miles de ciudadanos y ciudadanas de Grecia que han confiado su voto a vuestra organización política, para expresaros nuestra gratitud, solidaridad y respaldo en vuestra resistencia contra la devastación neoliberal de las condiciones materiales de vida y de las condiciones políticas de convivencia, y en vuestra lucha por una alternativa de justicia, dignidad y democracia para el pueblo griego y para el conjunto de los pueblos que componemos la Unión Europea. Aplaudimos con entusiasmo vuestro éxito en las pasadas elecciones griegas, como aplaudimos también la gestión que estáis haciendo de sus resultados, y os exhortamos a insistir en este empeño que ya constituye un ejemplo y una esperanza para millones de hombres y mujeres en toda Europa. Queremos haceros partícipes a ti, a los hombres y mujeres de tu organización y a los ciudadanos y ciudadanas griegos que también desde otras militancias políticas, sindicales o sociales comparten el proyecto de una convivencia verazmente libre y solidaria, de la ilusionada expectativa con que, desde toda Europa, se contempla la posibilidad de que en un breve plazo, un nuevo gobierno griego de unidad popular plante cara a la dictadura de mercaderes y burócratas de esta Europa secuestrada. Contemplamos la actual coyuntura política griega como el punto de inflexión que puede conducir a una transformación radical del orden político y económico europeo. Necesitamos una nueva Europa que sea la de sus ciudadanos y habitantes, y no la Europa de las brutales políticas de austeridad que dan prioridad al pago de una deuda odiosa, ilegal e ilegítima frente al desarrollo humano de nuestras comunidades. Ese es el llamado que hacemos estos días en las plazas, de la Puerta del Sol a Plaza Syntagma y tantas otras plazas repartidas por toda la geografía europea, plazas liberadas que son semilla y fundamento constituyente de la democracia real que los hombres y mujeres de Europa aspiramos a construir en común. La lucha contra el autoritarismo neoliberal que hipoteca el presente y el futuro de nuestros pueblos sólo puede ganarse a nivel europeo. También a nivel europeo es indispensable dotarnos de unas instituciones verazmente democráticas, que contribuyan a la libertad y la solidaridad de los distintos pueblos de Europa, frente al actual directorio oligárquico neoliberal y su estado de excepción económica y política permanente. “Y después de haber esperado tanto, tanto / llegó por fin la hora de zarpar”, decía vuestro y nuestro poeta ciudadano Aléxandros Panagoulis. Los hombres y mujeres de Europa ya hemos esperado y soportado demasiado. Y una vez más, le corresponde al pueblo griego, tan avezado en las cosas de la mar como en las de la libertad, la responsabilidad de señalar el rumbo hacia esa nueva Europa que entrevemos ya en nuestras plazas y voces rebeldes. Ponemos desde ya nuestros hombros al lado de los vuestros, para encarar juntos, como asamblea de pueblos hermanos, esta esforzada pero esperanzadora travesía.
